iOS 7 brings high-dynamic-range (HDR) photography to iPad for the first time

In addition to various other enhancements (as we covered in an extensive video), we have discovered that Apple has finally brought high-dynamic-range photo taking capabilities to the iPad with iOS 7. HDR photography was introduced for the iPhone in iOS 4.1, and the feature allows the device to take three photos in rapid succession. These three photos are taken in standard, over, and under exposed modes and the three images are combined to produce the best picture.
